CHALLENGE

To become an unofficial sponsor and make Guinness more approachable during the World Cup.

IDEA

To really take Guinness off the unwanted pedestal it had created for itself, we tackled the challenge quite literally head on: 4 football hair pieces to collect, based on soccer legends. 

We created the Goalie Pony (David Seaman), the Midfield Mohawk (David Beckham), the Champion Sweep (Bobby Charlton) and the Pro Perm (Kevin Keegan). Consumers simply had to buy 4 pints of Guinness, choose the `soccer syrup' of their choice and don with pride during the match. They were also available in Guinness multi-packs in the off-trade.
